Video Projects

In addition to our skating music services, we do custom video production projects. Here are some of the things we can do:

Conversion: We have equipment to deal with almost any type of video. We have VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, Hi-8 and MiniDV videotape decks, and we can also work with DVDs. We can convert video between any two formats. One of the most important reasons to convert is to preserve older non-digital formats (like VHS) to newer digital formats (MiniDV or DVD) that can be copied over and over in the future without any loss of quality.
DVD Production: If you're like most skaters (or parents) you have a lot of video from individual competitions. Wouldn't you like to collect them all together, and create a nice DVD for archival purposes and to share with family and friends? We are experienced at DVD authoring, and can create custom DVDs from your personal video footage. We can take any format source material (VHS, S-VHS, 8mm, Hi-8, or MiniDV) and encode it digitally, then add standard DVD menus to navigate to different "chapters" (for example, individual skating routines).
Web Video: Would you like to create a streaming video of a skating performance or any other video content for distribution by email or to put on a web page? We have the tools and experience needed to do it right. It's not easy to get all the settings right to produce videos for multiple types of Internet connections (from slow dial-up to fast DSL, cable modem or T1). We can encode your video (from any of the formats listed above) and create Microsoft Windows Media, Real, or QuickTime streaming video files.
